]]> StopLik™ Lick Deterrent Aids are available in two versions, one for animals moderately addicted to licking and one for those with stronger licking habits. They are powered by small electric cells similar to watch batteries and are available in various color-coded lengths that can be trimmed to size.

In clinical veterinary trials, dogs and cats stopped licking after only a few attempts to avoid the harmless electric stimulus, about 1/200 of a small static electricity shock. StopLik works on a high percentage of all sizes and breeds of dogs.

LikShield may be applied over a bandaged area or around the wound/surgical site. LikShield provides a safe mild electric stimulus to the pet’s tongue when licked to deter the pet from licking. The tingling sensation and unpleasant taste will prevent pets from licking, allowing their wound to heal.

Available in a resizable 9” x 6” patch, LikShield can be fitted to dogs, cats and other companion animals. LikShield may also be applied to keep IVs and catheters in place.
